Should I assume it will be a long time befre the network (samba) function will be working in file manager?
I understand there are threads that describe workarounds. I'm interested in knowing if this will soon be working in file manager.

Are you able and / or willing to dive into the issue from a source code, or from a debugging point of view to help this issue forward?
