      Re: Bluetooth

      I am running Ubuntu Touch on a One Plus N100. When I want to switch to using a headset it does not connect properly over Bluetooth. It is not stable. Sometimes it will say its connected but you still can't hear the audio. Is there a fix for this?

        @XFone-Labs This is an XFone customer who will likely need the improved Bluetooth functionality that is in OTA4. We have made the System Image Server for XFone available to help with updating this XFone:

          @XFone-Labs

          Test Plan:

          Summary/Approach: The new OTA4 has improvements to the Bluetooth subsystem that may solve the connectivity issue for XFone users. In order to test this we will copy the Bluetooth improvements from OTA4 to the system-image-server for XFone. We will then test it with an XFone. This will require updating the XFone build system.

          1. Clone all required system-image-server packages to the XFone system-image-server

          2. Using a test XFone unit, update the XFone configuration so that it pulls from the public XFone system-image-server

          3. Run a test update and verify that the unit is still working using the current code base

          4. Add the Bluetooth component from OTA4 to the XFone system-image-server. Run a build and update the test XFone (N100). Re-test now the Bluetooth problem. I will need to identify and copy the specific code and then merge it. Then run a build and update the configuration so it can be pulled onto the test unit. I will need some advice and assistance on this from some people who have done this before. [I will need some advice and assistance from someone who has done this kind of merge before and made a system-image-server]

          5. Evaluate the test results.

              The fixed code for the Bluetooth audio switching problem is apparently located here:

                I setup a project for this, the goal is to maintain compatibility on an ongoing basis between the latest code for N100 from UBPorts and XFone devices.
