For those who are accustomed to using Ubuntu with a terminal and keyboard the current Ubuntu Touch keyboard is extremely awkward. If you know how to use the unix command line, download Termux on your Android phone and be pleasantly surprised with what a difference a keyboard can make for the command line. It has 2 rows of 8 keys each which are very specific to unix/linux commands. This would be soooo nice to have in ubuntu touch. For me, the only reason to change from Android to Ubuntu Touch is the terminal. I'm surprised that no one here except the OP seems to get that. https://wiki.termux.com/images/thumb/2/28/Extra_keys_view.png/400px-Extra_keys_view.png Its very cutomizable too https://wiki.termux.com/wiki/Touch_Keyboard
