Question: Can you run Desktop Applications on Ubuntu Touch? If so, how?

I understand that some other GNU/Linux Mobile OSes have support by popular desktop applications; for example SuperTuxKart and LibreOffice.

Do these currently also run on Ubuntu Touch? How can they be installed?
