@AppLee
Thanks for your help. Setting phone in fastboot mode was the missing link, after enabling it instalation went fine. I had to enable repartitioning of internal storage otherwise I ended up in boot loop.

RE: Update to 20.04 failed, HASH ERROR
@AppLee said in Update to 20.04 failed, HASH ERROR:
The dumb thing to do is try again, maybe with another cable.
I did OTA update there were no cables involved.
The file might have been somehow corrupted.
If you run the installer from a console you should be able to see the log traces (but maybe that's where your found the error).
How do I run updater (installer) from console? Is it computer or phone console?
But the dumb method works more often than not.
Also trying with a different cable might help if you have a faulty cable.And a last piece of advice would be to back everything up and use the wipe option.
It's better to start clean then to keep old config files that can mess with your new install.One option is to clean install new version but ubports-installer did not recognize my phone (my guess is because it does not have Andoid on it but UBports). Is there a way to reinstall UBports on a device that's already installed with UBports?

Update to 20.04 failed, HASH ERROR
Hi,
I tried to upgrade my Xiaomi Remi Note 9 Pro to 20.04. Downloading part went fine but then I got following error:
Updates failed
FileNotFoundError: http://system-image.ubports.com/pool/ubports-415279e61546762c23b21cd658a0ad0054ca52cf738684128dff675a5b991061.tar.xz:HASH ERROR
I checked if file that URL points to exists and it does, I was able do download it.
Is there something I could do to troubleshoot the issue? If not is there an alternative way to install UBports 20.04 on my phone that already has 16.04 installed?Best Regards,
