Well...I found a way, using file manager:
    Enable "full access"
    Enable "hidden files"

    then go to:
    home>phablet>.cache>ubtd.mzanetti>HubIncoming

The file are inside that folder 😄
Not lost in the sapce, but well hidden in the space

Hey Man... many thanks I had good luck

I tried the installers from this page:
    https://github.com/ubports/ubports-installer/releases

I tried the windows exe on a windows 10 machine but it did not detect the fastboot, so it kept waiting

    I tested the deb file:
On a 16 LTS machine... the developer mode worked well , but then got frozen on fastboot
On a 14.04 installation, I never got the accept message on the phone (developer mode)....however I placed the phone on fast boot manually and then all worked nicely

So now the UBport is up and running on the phone 🙂

Ty for your reply...I tried, but the only option that I have are: delete, and if I click on the file gives me the option "open with" but the only app that appears for the option is "openstore"

  • where BT files go?

I used "bluetooth file transfer" to receive a file... now if I switch to "file manager" i can't find the file that i just received.
The bluetooth file transfer does not give me options to move, copy, etc... hence I wanted to use "file manager"

Anyone knows where is the folder?

I tried to use the "Install using MDT", i run the script.. and after that I still have the same version (15.04(r509))...it seems that it has done a factory reset of some sort.

I have copied the terminal output, if you are interested (it will be greatly apreciated):

    Checking for newer version

If you see this screen for longer than 10 seconds,
please delete the magic-device-tool folder and clone the project again.

If you are one of these people who don't read instructions or README files
and who downloaded this tool as a zip from GitHub instead of cloning it...

    RTFM 😉

You are running the latest version of magic-device-tool.

    @brispete

    Thanks for the reply.
As I mentioned earlier Under OS build details I have >>>>> 15.04 krilling ( this is the UBports version, no?)(The last canonical version was 15.04 Vivid Vervet)

However regardless of which version please note that I can not run any command line without terminal, hence the title catch 22

I hope you have more ideas, thanks for the help
