This didn’t work on my N10 - I believe I have the metro version? Not sure where I can find the exact hw model. It was recognized as Billie though. It was a pita to unlock the initial time around.
It bricked as described above when upgrading to 24.0.4
None of the 24 branches worked for me - I tried them all.
I finally had to revert back to 20.04 stable. Even then I gave it one more shot and tried to upgrade from 20.04 stable (I tried this as I had been on 20.04rc or dev I think prior to bricking). Still no luck.
I also had trouble setting the active slot on the install using ubports.
I ran into an error twice setting the active slot on two versions of the installer - 11.2 and also 10.0. It seems unrelated to 24.04 not working.
The only other time I used the ubports installer was the first time - I did not have the set active port error. I ignored it twice. I had to put the device into fast boot a few times through the phone menu to get the install to complete.
I guess I’ll stick with 20.04 until I get another Ubuntu touch device to try.
I unfortunately wiped my data. I hadn’t dealt with UT recovery yet. I was hoping it was like the old twrp. I didn’t have much on there but still unfortunate.
I would suggest not marking this resolved.
