It was indeed interesting but it's most likely using Unity 7 and not Unity 8/Lomiri so I highly doubt it'll ever come back with Lomiri. I mean it would be nice but it's at the bottom of the priority list. Also in general, TV is sadly plague with proprietary things so it'll almost impossible to penetrate the market. Unless you don't care about HDR, Dolby, and surround sound and such, you'll be stuck with SDR and sometimes 1080p on Linux.

It's not on the installer and a quick online search shows no one is working on a port. This means you are going to have to do it yourself which requires skill, tenacity and time. Check out the documentation on porting.
