I am using UbuntuTouch on a pixel 3A since a couple of years, with a small break just after the 24.04 update until the last week. Now I have realized that I am not getting any notification from Teleports. No sound, but neither items under the notification indicator.
I receive new messages regularly, but I have to open the app, and check each chat for new messages.

Anyone else experimenting the same issue?

Dekko2 works fine for emails, SMS too. I don't know if there is any other app using notifications, just to test them.

I keep this thread watched, because I am very interested in it!
And I add an information: it is not just a visualization issue, but the pointing is affected too. If I rotate the phone to the left, the mouse pointer works as the application bar was along the top edge (where on the screen the notification bar is shown).
The pointer probably could operate on the notification bar, if it could reach the right edge (but the movement stop at a middle point, probably corresponding to the device screen width)

Rotating it to the right, the application bar is found (by the mouse pointer) on the virtual bottom (which is much farther than the device screen, probably corresponding to the screen height), while the left edge allows to operate on the notification area.

@Caedem or you can set up some shared folders, in orddder to exchange files.

The only drawback is that you have to do it every time you torn on the device.

I am doing few attempt, in order to adapt the script to focal (and maybe my device?).
It still get errors on some step, and I would like to restore the device to a clean situation (that is, delete all created objects). Anyone knowing syncevolution enough to suggest me command lines to databases, configurations and so on?

One of my difficoulties is to distinguish parameters that are names of my choice, from parameters that identifies provider specifications.

Of course CONTACTS_URL, USERNAME and PASSWORD are related to provider, but what about all other variables?

Just a couple of questions:

• I have three calendars in my posteo account. Usually I specify just the host (https://posteo.de:8443), and the system recognizes and adds all three calendars. In the script you use, do I have to specify the complete URL of each calendar (i.e. https://posteo.de:8443/calendars/username/calendar-name)?
• which terminal did you use to launch the script: terminal app, ssh session, or adb shell? I used the third and during script execution I got another problem due to a DBUS variable, which was empty (the regular expression used to extract the value from the process command line did not match the current process)
• how do you trigger the synchronization?

UPDATE: for the n-th time i added the remote calendar in the app, after a minute it succeed, listing the calendars and doing the first synchronization. As only difference from previous times, I was under the cellular network (instead of WiFi). But since than it has never synchronized any more, even though I trigger it with the button in the calendar list.

Are there a log where I can check what's happening under the hood?

I have tried to add an online calendar, "Generic CalDAV", inserted url (tried both complete calendar URL and just host - i.e. posteo.de), username and password. When I click on "continue" it just exits on previous screen, showing only what was already there. But the new account in system setting has been correctly added.

I tried also to add directly the account in system settings, with same result: no online calendars appears in the calendar list.

Anyone experiencing a working CalDAV account?

I tried to follow instructions on docs.ubports.com to set up CardDAV synchronization on my Pixel3A with UT-20.04, but I got some troubles, the most blocking being that the command crontab is not available!

Than I ave also some error from syncevolution, which I can address, one at a time. Bu how can I schedule the synchronisation?

The best thing would be having a working wifi with the stable: with taht version, the bt worked perfectly.

I have just installed UT on my OnePlus One, from channel halium-devel. Everything I need seems to work, except an issue with bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I have tried several model of both, always with the same effect: device is found, coupled, connected ad recognized as what it actually is (keyboard or mouse), but when I use it, the system does not react at all: mouse pointer does not appear, and any key I press does not have any effect.

I would like to have checks by people with the same system version (and possibly same phone), weather they experience any BT mouse or keyboards working.
