On my home wifi I have no issues, so just playing around with the phone now. It's very smooth and responsive. Wonder how it will work with my SIM here in Japan.

RE: OpenStore spinning icon
@OtaDr I tried a couple of different wifi connections, no change. I can't make the change to disable WEP on any of them, though, don't have access to that level.

RE: OpenStore spinning icon
@OtaDr I'm only trying with wifi. It's so odd that it connects fine inside waydroid but not outside, when I would assume the waydroid connection comes from the main OS connection.

RE: OpenStore spinning icon
HymixBB Oddly enough, if I open waydroid (which I installed before the OS upgrade), apps in there do connect to the internet without issue. I'm able to view the latest news in my browser, send messages via Molly, all without issue. Why would I be able to access the internet in waydroid but not outside waydroid?

OpenStore spinning icon
So I'm new to Ubuntu Touch, plenty of experience (using) custom Roms.
I picked up a 3a, installed the latest stable version of UT with UBports installer. After first boot I tried to open OpenStore, and I just get a spinning icon. A reboot made no difference.
I reinstalled Android 9 (not sure if necessary) then installed the previous stable version, 20. From there I was able to access openstore, install apps, no issues. Next I updated to the latest stable version via the updater, but now I have the same issue. I've checked on the browser, and despite showing as connected, I can't access anything via the browser either. Again, a reboot didn't help, neither did forgetting the wifi and readding it.
Any suggestions, anybody?
