To preface this - I'm completely new to running UBports on any device, so please bear with me.
After a very rocky setup experience (the installer won't work, so I had to do it myself by finding the maintainer's repos and flashing the images myself), I've finally gotten UBports booted and apparently running normally - I've been able to create my account, set up a Libertine container, enable SSH, etc. I could turn the screen off and back on, everything was fine.
However, after my first reboot, after the boot logo I have only a black screen. At first, I thought it was failing to boot and shutting back off, but I noticed that MTP connects to my PC, and I can reach it over SSH. After some random tapping around I even felt a vibration pulse like I hit a button. It's working, but the display won't turn on.
After reading through some other threads I've tried turning it on in a dark room and in bright light in case it's auto-brightness misbehaving, but to no avail - and I'm also certain that there is absolutely nothing on the display, again both by looking in a dark room and shining a bright light at it in case the backlight's just off. The only difference I notice if I hit the power button is that the notification light toggles on and off, which normally corresponds to the screen state (light on = screen off, and vice versa).
After wiping my data, it will again boot up normally once, with the display fully working, then do the same thing after the first reboot, even without having changed any settings after initial setup.
Any ideas where to start on troubleshooting this? I'm of course willing to get logs (again, I can access anything over SSH), I just don't know what would be useful or where they are.
