@peat_psuwit Hello and thank you for this information. In concrete terms, the risk would concern fraudulent applications that would use the microphone? Has the case already been seen? Thank you

Simple feedback!
Hello everyone, my name is Nicolas, I'm 37 years old, I live in France (more precisely in Brittany, it's important :-)!) this little message to congratulate you and thank you for the work you've done.
I'm the proud owner of a Pixel 3a bought refurbished for the sole purpose of running Ubuntu Touch. It's been my daily driver since October 2023.
I followed the Android 9 installation procedure using Google Chrome, then installed UT using the installer. It worked first time!
After several weeks of daily use, the phone's operation is incredibly stable and fluid!Coming from IOS, and wanting a more privacy-friendly solution, I tried non-googled Android solutions (notably /e/os on an old S7 edge, then on a TeraCube). But I didn't find what I was looking for, especially in the Android-style user interface, which I found (this is only my opinion, of course...) a little confusing and complicated.
To my great regret, I don't have the technical level to be able to contribute to the Ubuntu Touch cause, but I'm following you fervently! So I'm content to be the solution's ambassador to those around me!
Well done for your work, and thanks to all the developers who contribute to offering a viable, quality alternative solution that is Ubuntu Touch.
