Hi, Nexus 6P has problems with wifi driver sometimes crashing in the background. Did you try to disable and enable in this indicator? You can see, I have a lot of netowrks in range, and I am connected with my home net 🙂

IMEI is normally obtained automatically. Does the device recognize the SIM at all? Whats shown when you go into system settings and then Network category?
