Just installed on Nexus 6P but WiFI scan doesn't find my 2.4 or 5Ghz routers. Do I need older routers for this phone? Ideas? Issues?

I obtained the IMEI number from the SIM card tray. However, when I look at Ubuntu Touch settings it says IMEI is none. How and where do I set the IMEI so it is recognized by Ubuntu Touch? I will need to do this before I take the phone to mobile service provider. They would like to see it recognized by the phone in order to provide service.

@danieltheman I know this topic is old but still relevant. Anyways, most IMEI numbers are printed on the SIM card tray of mobile phones.
