@Moep Hello, Normally the installer should recommend you the version 24.04, but you have the choice during the installation process. Now the version 24.04 is really recommended over the version 20.04 that has some limitations, but make sure to select the stable branch of 24.04 and NOT the daily branch (that is daily builds, recommanded only for testers/devellopers). It has snap support, but also Ubuntu Touch is shipped with an application store dedicated to mobile apps: the Open Store ( https://open-store.io/ ) , where you should find the most usefull apps for your mobile life. As for encryption I'm not sure maybe other can reply, on that.
