@shabreen not sure that mine was the same issue but the i couldnt install it past the 1+ screen either.

I downloaded the bacon root toolkit and reflashed the stock rom with help from youtube vids. After that the UT installer worked fine.

Hope that helps. Also i couldnt boot to fastboot with the cable in. But taken it out while booting worked fine
