So my oneplus6t arrived.

Was able to unlock it via the ubports installer.... Only for the installer to fail midway and brick my phone.

I'm at the quallcomm crash screen now.

If I try to install ubuntu I get the attached error

Is this something UBports installer can resolve or shall I troubleshoot the qualcomm crash before attempting again?

So I bought a poco x3 due to it being on the compatibility list.

However unlocking this thing is a nightmare. i have linux so trying to unlock it. First try it told me I had to wait 100 hours (lmao)

I waited the period, tried again and told me I had to wait a further 200 hours.

Wtf is this crap?

Thinking about putting it back on ebay to be frank. Which phone can I buy where I can unlock the bootloader immediately and install ubuntu touch?

I recently rebooted up my UB touch phone (Oneplus 3)
However there's no updates for it. And I can't see any new installs on the site.

It feels like the store is even more sparse than I remember when I was using it as a daily driver.

I'm taking it I'm on an unsupported version of UB touch? Under About it says the OS is Ubuntu 16.04 (OTA-25)

So a bunch of questions really

• Is there an updated UB touch for Oneplus 3 or do I need to buy a new phone like the OnePlus Nord N100?

• What is the best pdf reader on UB touch? I've been using Sturm reader which is quite nice but nowhere near as functional as the android app which provides highlighting, books marks, ability to export bookmarks..

• Which is the best phone for the best experience of UB touch?
