@TechLovingHuman The Nexus 5 is quite old and most apps will work if they are written for 16.04. Video playback has been OK for me.
Please bear in mind due to its age, battery life may be below par and it has a design fault that cause it to commit suicide with a boot loop - the reason- some designer decided it was a good idea to put the RAM and eMMC together which leads to overheating and failing due to solder issues or just dying.
However it was and is a great device. 😁
