RE: UBports as the OS of a note-taking tablet?
@dobey You mean not having a stylus or not having overall stylus support? (I kinda put this thread up to ask this too, since if someone had any experience in taking notes in there they would obviously be able to tell me that.)
I haven't yet received the response of anyone who uses Xournal on this specific device, so I'll probably mark as solved soon. From the current outlook (specially from @Capsia's response) it doesn't seem too likely that I will choose this tablet, but thank you all for your inputs until now!

@dobey Indeed, I considered that one. The downside was that I heard stylus support wouldn't be very present on this batch. It's already out of stock anyway...

RE: UBports as the OS of a note-taking tablet?
@Capsia I'd probably prefer a more fully-fledged note app (that supports editing and creating pdf's and all that), but thanks for your input!
@Lakotaubp No worries, it's my intent.
@arubislander The thing is that I want to write in it as if it was a notebook. That's the kind of notes that I'm talking about. I already have a laptop, so all I'm looking forward to is a relatively cheap tablet that I can use for this function alone.

UBports as the OS of a note-taking tablet?
Hi there, I'm a student and I'm considering buying a tablet to start using next semester as a note-taking device for classes. Since I don't intend to use it for much aside from that, and as I have always had some interest on trying UBports, I've been thinking that perhaps I could buy the cheap Bq Aquaris M10 and flash this OS on it. Which brings the question: is this viable?
I for myself know already, from the research I've made, that the app I'd use is xournal, and that that's a desktop-only app that therefore requires Libertine. Does anyone here have any experience in running xournal under libertine on this specific device, and in taking notes there? Is it smooth?
Thanks in advance.
