How to start vivid browser from command line

Can anyone tell me how to start the browser from the command line? I've tried xdg-open, but got command not found message. Thanks in advance for your advice.

ubuntu-app-launch webbrowser-app. See alsoubuntu-app-launch-appidsif you want to launch other apps from the terminal. -
