Dialer is crashing on E4.5 with 16.04 clean install (Stable)
-
As soon as a call comes in, or I make a call, the screen goes black once the dialer has appeared. If I rotate the phone around the screen flickers briefly on/off very quickly (like a strobe). It doesn't stay on long enough to let me use the mailer. So I can't access speaker phone or use automated systems.
TODO:
Reproduce and provide logs.
The dialer will be .cache/upstart/application-legacy-something/var/log/syslog

@tlf Can you please confirm which version of 16.04 your now on. If its not the stable channel (system settings, updates, channel) please try that first then let us know. The Logviewer app from the openstore is a great way to produce logs to track down issues if you still need it later. There's also a handy tutorial https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1099/logviewer-review on how it works

@lakotaubp thank you, I've updated the title to show that I am running 16.04 stable.
Here are the log files in .cache/upstart as suggested. Which ones are relevant to this issue? I'll upload them to pastebin
