Is it just my machine or does the mic not work when you pit a mic and earphone combination into the earphone jack on OPO?

I have a set from work, that has the earphones and mic in one cable. When I put this into the earphone jact point at the top of the OPO, I can hear the conversation nice and clear, but I cannot speak as the mic does not work.

Is this a setting or could it be a bug?

@Marathon2422 Yep I made sure as had that before. It was fully in (so it clicked) and there is no cover. I could hear, but when I spoke the other person could not hear me. The speaker and headphone set work on other phones all OK, so I know they are not faulty.

Now I may be looking at this wrong and if I am please feel free to point out, but there don't seem anywhere in Settings to check/activate.

@ukphil Try uVolman I haven't but it may help. Can you get in to clean the earphone port with anything. Not much but may help.

@Lakotaubp thanks for the tip as I was not aware this app was out there. However, it did not work for me this time.
