@wartburgritter If you are on Ubports Ubuntu Touch yes it is. If you are still on Canonical Ubuntu Touch you need to install Ubports first as @advocatux suggested.

Will the tablet be formated and all data is lost on ubports install? In 98 % I use the browser and unav. Does they work quite well ?

Ahh I do not mind losing all data. What I do not know is how to keep or backup the browser bookmarks of ubuntu touch browser.

Started to install the ota-6 ...
The installer gui says
please reboot to bootloader
. How does this works? If I reboot the device it starts until the login screen is available.The installer was installed on a Debian Stretch using the deb package from here: https://github.com/ubports/ubports-installer/releases/tag/0.1.21-beta

@wartburgritter Switch off m10 hold Power button and volume up buttons together until fastboot screen appears. Then connenect to installer.
