I think the battery is fine because when Android was still on,
          it worked great

@mmvanheusden I'm not saying it is the battery but that is the cheapest and easiest thing to start with. If you look around on OPO forums most suggest sending the device back, sometimes the battery did the trick other times not and they point to an error in the charging circuit. Are you sure yours is charging at all the animation is no guarantee you need the light on top left of the screen.. Run the command mentioned above by @wdehoog and check the results. If they are like the first of mine in the same thread you will get nowhere until that is fixed. That phone went Without any warnings at all.

@mmvanheusden yes sorry forgot that bit. But do you get the charging light. If so it is probably just a battery thats gone.

@mmvanheusden Same as mine. Still waiting for the battery to arrive, so will let you know. Unless you find something on the opo forums in the mean time.

@mmvanheusden Battery has arrived and appears to have fixed the problem for me. Will keep an eye for a day or so.

@mmvanheusden I have two also. One has never had a problem so I'm not touching that. Changing the battery on the other was quite straight forward. Back cover off, nine screws, three pop out screw cover things and one more cover. Plenty of videos available online. If you don't have the tools order a battery that comes with them. Just take your time. This was only the second battery I've changed so it's not difficult.
