Trouble Installing on Oneplus One (Solved)
-
@Edward-Wilhelm That's after rerunning the installer.
-
@Lakotaubp
I am not sure what you mean. -
@Lakotaubp
I did the down keystroke/power button combo several more times, and I was able to get it back to recovery mode. -
@Edward-Wilhelm try leaving the phone in recovery then connect to the pc and just restart the installer and see how far you get. You've not had any battery issues at all have you?
-
@Lakotaubp
I got the installer to recognizes the device again. It then told me to hold down button + power which I did. Then the connection was lost. -
@Edward-Wilhelm Is the phone switching off
-
@Lakotaubp Yes. I am back in recovery mode now.
-
@Lakotaubp Okay I re ran adb devices in recovery and it could see the phone. I re-did the installer. Now magic is happening! It says success! Now the phone says it is installing update. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!
-
@Edward-Wilhelm Very crossed, but that should be it.
-
@Lakotaubp
It worked!
Now to figure out how to get a large sim card instead of a small sim card in the midst of a global pandemic. -
@Edward-Wilhelm You need a nice adapter for that. Can't help with that. Does your brother have one
-
Anyway enjoy UT and have fun.
-
@Lakotaubp
Thanks again. I really appreciate your help! I am posting this from Ubuntu touch. -

I just tried to mark as solved, but received this error message.
"Error

-
@Edward-Wilhelm That error you are getting is part of a forum update to stop spmmers from joining posting something then returning to edit it. Try again if it's still the same let me know.
-
Can you tell me which device - Linux or phone, each of these things you mention have to be installed on?
-
@Edward-Wilhelm
Edward-Wilhelm, I am following along with this thread having the exact issues you're having. I lost you at this post. I am not sure what you mean by "I am back in recovery mode now". Do you mean you restarted the phone while holding down the power and volume down buttons and you are looking at the screen which results from doing that? Something else?
