I want to make a proposal about the donations via BTC.
I want to donate about 0.0003 or 0.0004 BTC every month, but the fee is too high for BTC transactions, so there is this project called Incognito.org, where the fees for transaction are incredibly low, because they have the option to Shield BTC inside their network.
Incognito.org is a completely free opensource protect aiming to boost privacy for any cryptocurrency, so because of that, it doesn't require any KYC or login, you just create a wallet and shield your crypto inside at no cost.
By promoting this app I'm not getting paid or anything, I just think its a really cool project UBports could use for the donations system so its easier for those who like donating by BTC.
If UBports does so, be sure I'll donate every time I can 😉

By just giving the public address of your Incognito wallet, you could accept any crypto. I could be sending ETH to the same address that I could send BTC.

Anyone using the Incognito app could send you BTC at basically no fee at all.

You could unshield the BTC at any time and without any cost, to a real BTC wallet.

You can share the same wallet across multiple devices.

No login required, no KYC for trading inside the pDEX. Totally free and opensource.

Just a note to any forum admin that looks at this for being flagged as spam. It is NOT. Thanks 🙂

Given the volatility, is BTC a good choice for the Foundation? I see the privacy benefits though.

            Truly I'm curious.

@dobey Thanks for the heads up. I can't think why it might be suspicious 😉

This project have some things in common with UBports:

                • Privacy orientated
                • Open source
                • Free
                • Solves a real problem
                • Very innovative

Btw, sorry for the typo at the title, when I was about to change it someone flagged my post as spam and now it says I can't edit the post because it's been too long since I posted it.

I hope you like my idea 😁

@Giiba At the Incognito app there is support for other cryptocurrencies, such as DAI or USDT, which are stable because they always have the same price as the USD dollar, and, as I said before, each wallet only needs one address to receive any crypto.

It wasn't flagged as spam. But as you're a new member of the forum there are more strict rules about posting and editing posts.
You'll get through it soon I guess and you'll be able to edit your posts later.
