@dobey Wow! This fixed system settings! Now it opens the app and it can go in the About menu. Thank you very much! It updated libsystemsettings1 and ubuntu-system-settings.

I don't know what is happening there, but it seems like it is not crashing. Anyway, let's not misdirect this thread for that.

@mihael It was some poor memory handling in the code, which was exposed by some changes that were merged recently. So I fixed the code.

@mihael It only happens when a certain types of click is installed, so only people who might have certain old clicks will hit the issue.

I have reinstalled the OS on devel. No sign of problems in neither "system settings" nor the "about" sub menu. I'd say the bug is fixed. Once again, thanks for the great effort.
