@makeixo Looking since years for Python on a Phone, and NOT MycroPython, ANT+ , Muse SDK on Android, or things like that. Who wants to carry around a laptop with Matlab or Python for sensor data aquisition? Bring Python to Linux Phones!

@pavelprosto That's really cool. Thanks a lot for making these.
I shared them on the federated Reddit alternative Lemmy.

Very cool, had some issues finding resources a few weeks back. This will make it easier for others. It would be great if it was one big repo, because people could contribute even more examples.

I think it's possible. In Ubports Developer Docs has a Sample Apps section:
                https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/appdev/
Over the weekend I will figure out how it can be edited to add Python Examples :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I am very glad that everyone really liked my examples.:heart_suit:
I see this as a great need for the development of the community and will continue learning modules in Python Ubuntu Toch :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

@pavelprosto For me the Python isn't the part I am worried about. There are lots of books about python. What's still vague for me is what comes, when you have written the python file(s)? You get lost very fast ... Qt, qml, pyQt, QtQuick, pyOtherSide ...

I know there are lots of YouTube tutorials about Qt / qml, but what I have noticed is, that there mostly unstructured and for me personally not very helpful.

Your examples on the other hand are very helpful because you can see how - a not very complicated - qml file looks like. When I start with qml I will most likely need them for my app. 🙂
