What the os is missing

According to my opinion, is bankid (very important for Scandinavian countries, don't know about the rest of you guys) and volte/voWifi.
Has there been any attempts or thoughts about making this happen? I would love to have a UT device as a daily driver but without these I can't

Maybe we should pin a FAQ somewhere, because those have been asked many, many times.
Neither is particularly likely to happen soon, because of reasons...

@noob_untu I think that bank apps are proprietary, closed source, well secured, and must be developed by each bank especially for Ubuntu Touch, that seems utopian right now... Another way is to try those apps within Anbox - "Android in a box" (very experimental stage yet), but still not available for every devices. https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/dailyuse/anbox.html
Moreover Anbox can't access to the device's hardware. It seems that it works for a few bank apps, and doesn't for others...Concerning VoWifi / VolTE, I agree it would be very helpful. Btw I'm also waiting for these features. Problem is that those technologies are also proprietary, undocumented and depend on vendor blobs (for each device). So I guess it will be necessary to wait for a while until someone competent in this domain gets to work on it.
A 3rd feature, that from my own opinion would be great to get as well is Wifi driveless printing. There's an WIP project on Github that has been started by Canonical. But it appears to be quite complicated to integrate due to the memory usage requirement on the rootfs image.
Finally, this 1st half year will be more focused by the core team on QT 5.12 upgrade & migration to 20.04 Focal, ...than implementing new features I guess.
Personally I use UT on my Nexus 5 95% of the time, and keep my Iphone 8 for some needed stuff that I can not manage without.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the foundation for their incredible work.

@noob_untu The best suggestion I can make is to keep an alt OS around for banking if banks don't supply desktop access. I feel this one because my main bank works on an app and limits the desktop features. If it does have desktop access, than some banks have a responsive design site which will work in UT just fine.

Thank you for all of your replies. I understand how this must have been mentioned before. But without somebody being a naggy bi*** things will never speed up
Sure, a web browser would let me control all my finances, but to get in I would have to log in with secure identification. That is what we have bankid for. Without it, I have to use a code generator provided from my bank. This is easily forgotten when you leave the house, and easily lost. Bankid follows the sim card actually, so even if I swap between android devices (probably iphones too, I've just never tried one) I still can log into my account, from laptop, mobile browser or whatever. So it's not a lack of a bankapp that bothers me. And since it follows the sim I would guess it to be plausible and not something I would need Anbox for.I work with radioactive isotopes and I'm mostly confined in a bunker, with shitty cell reseption. Wifi is great though, so voWiFi is an absolute must for me. But I suppose one would have to lobby the cellphone companies to get them to develop it for UT?
