@guf Will it be possible to use the port you are making on a regular XA2 (H3113)?

@branja6 I guess it is. Is it the same model with 2 sims? Somewhere in the web, i saw the difference for each model. If it is a discovery, no problem at all. I oly built kernel (halium-boot.img ) and vendorimage (vendor.img), then I installed ubports-GSI-rootfs and it worked.
But I need to do it better, enhancing TheKit's work to make it officially supported

@guf My device is a single SIM. The only difference between them is the amount of RAM and another camera on the front if I'm not mistaken. Great, I can't wait to try it out!

@branja6 If the camera is different be prepared for it not to work on your device.

@branja6 be prepared for it not work. They are two different devices! Yours is a pioneer and gufs ultra is a discovery! There are two seperate LOS versions, so i guess there have to be also two different UT versions...

@zapfel There is a great work done for pioneer by Heng Ye and @TheKit in the following repo: kirin (Sony Xperia 10), mermaid (Sony Xperia 10 Plus), pioneer (Sony Xperia XA2).
I'd need to queue my device up in this repo.

@guf Excellent! I can't wait to try it out. My daily driver is Sailfish OS (and it's amazing) but I would like to play with UT as well.

I have the Nexus 5 now with UT.

                        1. How does UT for Sony XA2 compare with the UT version of Nexus 5? What does not work on XA2?
                        2. Would I use the Sony Xperia 10 (kirin) version to flash the XA2? I saw the installer on https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/
                        3. Would the Pixel 3a be better than the Sony XA2 right now? What does not work on the Pixel 3a?

                        Thanks.

The webpage you mentioned was updated tonight.
The features coverage is not yet available for those phones, but I hope it will be sooner or later.
                          See the announcement post:

@branja6 did you managed to have UT at the end.? Thread is old and I see no XA2 on official list, so I guess it was not ported?
                            Thx
