Hi, yesterday my Vollaphone received another update from the October update, however I cannot use my phone as it only boots TWRP

How do I get my phone back from this?

So far I have attempted to sideload and reinstall Volla OS as described by UBports, however after the third attempt this fails, returning the phone back to TWRP rather than booting a fresh install of Volla OS.

          Hi and welcome @leonie

Sorry I can't help with your issue.
But I moved your question to the subforum dedicated to the VollaPhone, hopefully it'll help you get the help that you need.

@leonie What are you talking about? Is it the update dated May 28, 2021 that I received today in the update manager of Volla vollaOS 9.0 which is 1.1 GB in size that caused you problems?

If your issue still exists , you just have to flash the original recovery via fastboot , then volla os should start as usual.
its a known problem after updating to the newest android 9 version on volla .

u can get the original recoveryimage here:
                  https://volla.online/en/faqs/

under "how can i update the operating system volla os " you can find a link to the recovery image and further instructions
                  how to solve the problem.

                    I'm having a similar(ish) issue.

My Volla Phone doesn't have TWRP (at least it doesn't look like the TWRP I'm used to). However, when I've done updates to OTA 17 and OTA 18 after both I am met with a recovery screen stating that the update has failed and that I should reboot and try again. However, when I do reboot the update says it has installed and in the about section it will say the correct OTA number.

I assume this is a minor glitch and that everything is probably installed correctly. Is this a known glitch? Is there a way of verifying that all of the OTA update has been installed?

@adlinux , my Volla shows the exact same behavior on updates.
