@cliffcoggin I don't see https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/1092 issue on OTA13 project board currently. As it concern only one device, i guess it is not a high priority thing. The project board: https://github.com/orgs/ubports/projects/17

Thanks for the links. Such a shame it is unlikely to be fixed, particularly as it apparently worked in OTA-11.

I tried converting an MP4 video into OGG, but it made no difference. Media player needs serious work.

This going to be fixed when switching N5 devices to halium 7.1 ( see last Q&A ), but don't know when 😉

@lduboeuf After searching, it appears that someone associated with VLC is developing a version for ARM. It would be a welcome addition.

Hey...I think you should try to convert your MP4 file to another video file format. In case after converting the MP4 file, if you are still unable to play your video, then your video file must be corrupted and you need to try any third party video repair software to solve this issue.

Mp4 videos can be played using Video Player
(Pavel Prosto) or even using morph-browser as a video player : for this, the video must be in the Downloads folder (work only if the video is in this folder), copied, and pasted in morph-browser.
