I've observed the battery usage over the week. I've used my main sim-card in an other phone and used the E4.5 with only the second sim-card and some wifi-connections. Over the week there was no unusual battery waste.
Yesterday I plugged in my main sim-card again. The first day with both sim inserted was pretty normal, today I got a battery drain again after using a wifi connection (normally around 10% per day, now 60% in 5 hours).
What I find strange is that normally when I press the power button to wake up the phone/screen, it takes aprox. 1,5 seconds until the screen and the backlight is switched on.
For now the screen is on immediatly after pressing the power button, so I think something in the background isn't going to sleep as intended and so the battery drains.

        Edit:
In dmesg there hundreds of those lines (forget the date-/timestamp):
[Di Aug 10 12:48:23 2021] [WMT-LIB][E]wmt_lib_is_therm_ctrl_support(1175):thermal command can not be send: STP is not ready
[Di Aug 10 12:48:23 2021] [WMT-EXP][E]_mtk_wcn_wmt_therm_ctrl(232):thermal ctrl function not supported

If you are brave, switch to RC, this is solved. 🙂

@bolly Is it really solved or do you think it is solved? Have you already switched to rc to get rid of this issue?

edit. I think you mean this bug-report, right?

It's already fixed, and I switched to RC as I said in the previous message (maybe I didn't express myself well). See the new screenshot, but the one from the other day was fine too. Compare it with the first one I posted. :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I haven't looked, first time I've seen it. @kugiigi told me and I just believed it. :cat_face_with_tears_of_joy:

                @bolly MX4 - high power usage.jpg

I'm still facing this problem. Very high CPU usage while flight mode.
It's an Meizu MX4 on Release Channel (Version 113).
I already changed my battery! The phone is almost not usable as a daily driver with this bug!
Is there anything else I could do? How can I check if I got the fix?
                Any help, pleas?

Does it give the same percentage of charge when the phone is switched off and you put it on charge?

No, it's totally curious. Sometimes its more, sometimes its less!

Shutting down the phone helps sometimes. Then there's no battery drain while being in flight mode anymore.

Then your battery is out of calibration.
To fix it you have to discharge the whole battery and with the phone switched off charge it to 100%. (Repeat the operation until it shows the same off as on).

I'm on RC since monday and until now everything works like it should, no battery drain anymore. I hope it's fixed.

I replaced my battery with a new one and I didn't realise this problem any more so far!

This happens right know most of the time when I charge my phone during the night (switched off) and then turn it into flight mode while I'm working. Enormous battery drain within a few hours in flight mode!
So I basically always have to turn it out during a longer period I don't need it instead of using the flight mode. Very annoying!

Am I the only person facing this problem?
                            Any ideas? Any help welcome:)
                            Have a nice evening

I'm on RC (starting with 113, now 115) with my E4.5 for over 10 days now and I haven't been affected by this bug anymore.
