      When a thread gets moved in the forum, there is a very prominently displayed icon in the topic list (black circle with arrow pointing right).

      I think this is pretty useless and confusing. I would argue that only very few people
      ever care about this information. Only posters in the thread that navigate there from the topic list. If you haven't posted there, you probably don't care. If you navigate there from browser or email notifications, you don't care.

      I think nobody cares to be continuously reminded of the fact that it has been moved. At most, I want to be notified once about this fact.

      Also, the notification is very prominent. It is present in the topic list. Prime screen real estate. And it is placed not amongst one out of many icons that indicate some kind of thread status, no it is the only icon that can reside in this place. It almost feels like having been moved is the most important attribute of a thread.

      Years ago when I joined I was confused and thought it means pinned or so. Took me for ever to understand that I should simply unsee it.

        @doniks Thanks for the suggestion.

        I have moved the thread to General until a specific category is created. Design subgroup is for the OS itself 🙂

          @doniks Call me blind, but I have never noticed such an icon, and had to search for it. I must admit I tend to ignore unknown icons and symbols unless I have problems finding what I want.

                @cliffcoggin to be clear what Doniks is talking about is this (it might be different in mobile view though)

                  @Pulsar33 I think is visible for anyone

                    It is.

                    Is currently using an Op5t
                    Also owns an Op1, a BQ E4.5 and an Xperia X, as well as a BQ tablet and a Pinetab2. Please, someone... make it stop.

                      @cibersheep Oh I saw it once Donik mentioned it, but I ignore it and all the other icons at the top of each message . I only read the text.

                        @cibersheep : you're right, I undestand now and yes I see the arrows for the threads which were moved to Libertine category, for exemple.
                        I must say that this wasn't confusing for me, I even had not noticed them 😛
