Gallery app refresh issues

Hello everyone. I want to discuss an issue that's been there since I've used UT, and consistent on different devices. It's not a huge problem but nonetheless a peculiar design flaw: when you take a picture, and you want to send it by message, you can whether use the camera app and click share, or you can go to messages, and click send an attachment. The latter won't work, because apparently the gallery app did not update its roster of files since you took that picture. The workaround is to open the gallery app separately so it displays the new pictures, then back to messages and shazaam, it finds the new pictures. It's hardly an instinctive move and I figured I have to resort to doing this more than I'd like. Is that a known issue ? Any ideas how to fix this ? Cheers !

I think that's a known issue, but I didn't search for it.
I bet the fix should be on the Gallery app.The Gallery app shall scan for new pictures when opened via the Content Hub instead of just when the app is launched.
That is a good issue to start with if someone is interested to give some love to the Gallery app.
