Hi every body, I have a very newbie question,
can I mask left bar on dashboard (desktop?) page?
The bar's masking automaticaly when I use app, but I don't find how to mask it on the first UT page 🙂
        Is it possible?

Thanks (no emergency here 🙂 )

Hi, at your own risk install Ubuntu Touch Tweak tool from the app store.. You have a line for the Launcher and in there you can autohide it. As I said do this at your own risk, it can cause misbehaviours!

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...

@phiibuntu Tweak Tool also lets you change the size/scale of the launcher, but it should atuo hide anyway when apps are being used.

I try UT tweak but if size scale works, hiding the launcher doesn't (on my Xiaomi redmi noe 9S)

If "masking" you mean hiding and you mean when no app is open then no, it'snot possible. The tweak tool option to autohide is only applicable when in desktop mode.

It is possible, but it requires some changes to the code. If I'm not mistaken, you don't even need to compile something and just edit some qml somewhere on the phone.

But it's a hacky thing and I would discourage you to do such thing unless you fully understand what you're doing.
