the audio messages don't work, they don't send themselves, the information we have is that the audios are in unknown status
please help me to find how to solved this
-
@dozbord - it is unclear as to what you are referring to. Please specify the app you are using in Waydroid, and the task you are trying to accomplish with it, so others can better understand the problem you are having.

@totalsonic I use especially the message application of the system, and I send you a video, or the audio does not send or that there is a round which turns to say that it is necessary to wait still, of course this is on ubuntu touch

@dozbord - ok - you posted this in the wrong part of the forum - it seems your problem is with the core native UT Messaging app and not Waydroid at all.
What device are you using?
What channel are you on (Stable, Release Candidate, Development)
Did you give your Messaging app permission to use the microphone in the System Settings?
Did you turn off Wifi and only use LTE mobile data while trying to send this (as it is MMS)?
Did you configure your APN settings correctly for MMS use with your carrier?Best regards,
Steve Berson -
OK - I can confirm similar behavior as you are seeing- seems there is either a bug in the Messaging app or we both have configuration issues for sending audio via MMS. In the meantime I would suggest sending audio notes via TELEports (Telegram client) or Axolotl (Signal client) instead.
Best regards,
Steve Berson -
thx for anwers me
but if I use the Axolotl will the other person who is supposed to receive the audio message be able to receive it even without the applicationDozbord
-
@dozbord Nope. The recipient needs or Ubuntu Touch Axolotl app, or the standard Signal app.

Now fixed. I moved the thread.
If there is no bug report, can you check and create one. -
@dozbord maybe you can add some logs.
Just tested yesterday ( devel) and it went fine for me.
If you can send a picture, you should be able to send audio too except if something went wrong in audio recording.
