Hi, I have recently installed UT on a nexus6P with success and everything working very well. I have been trying to install protonvpn using all the info and links from previous forum posts. I have carefully checked all my settings and still come up with the error “no valid vpn secrets”
The password seems to disappear when I go to the connect tab. Is this a known problem, or is the password still active but not visible?

Have you installed VPN editor, its a godsend making the VPN easier to set up. I have used it to set up my VPN, still took a bit of working out, but it is working.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
                  I have too many devices...

Yes I have installed VPN Editor and followed the instructions very carefully. I have seen other posts that mentioned the password was not holding, I think that is my problem.

@pauls I have the same issue on a Volla X freshly bought with OTA-21.I've tried with protonvpn free plan and my usual vpn provider (with wireguard) with the same results. It's simple, that makes this brand new shiny Linux phone pretty useless, which is sad.
There's support for Wireguard and vpn, so this can be solved, it's just that we don't know how... Anyone ?

@pauls Have you tried to follow the UBports Proton VPN settings blog? link text

The easiest way is to follow screenshots. Verify you are not connected to vpn on other device using free plan. It works only for one device. Sometimes the connection persist on other devices even you think you have canceled the connection.

Did you asked at Proton for the necessary cert file?
