HTML5 App - API Access

Re: How to use the RuntimeApi in HTML5 Apps?
I'm having a similar issue,
How would I go about accessing the APIs to ready information such as the battery status?I've dissected the cordova support and it appears to use navigator messages to speak to qt, I assume this is kind of specific to cordova?
Whats the recommended approach?

Has anyone got any ideas on how to do this?

@majesticfudgie
Nope, sorry.Have you tried on Telegram in the app development group?
It might be quicker to have an answer there... -
@majesticfudgie Hello,
Cordova's code is quite obsolete now
I have never been able to test the html5 API but you may need apparmor permisions (?) to access the app cache folders.You could use a webview/webengine in a qml and get better access (old code but it could be useful): https://gitlab.com/cibersheep/quixe-qml/

Can I share apps on the [AndroidHD]

@ritomkai I have edited out the link as it is reported spam, and no iirc UT apps will not run on Android
