How to remove an application?
-
On my Pixel 3A XL I installed from the store the FluffyChat application. I entered my credentials and submitted. It showed a window "Loading.... Please wait." along with a "Cancel process" button. But, it just hangs, the circle thing keeps rotating, nothing else happens. After about 10 minutes I tried to cancel, but tapping on the "Cancel process" button does nothing. So, I closed the app by swiping it away.
Then, when I start Fluffy Chat, it simply resumes trying to load - which of course it never does. So, I went in the store and clicked on the garbarge can icon to uninstall Fluffy Chat. Then I rebooted the phone. Then in the store I reinstalled Fluffy Chat. When I start Fluffy Chat, it still immediately resumes attempting to load, which it never does.
So, it looks like there is something wrong with Fluffy Chat. But my question in this post isn't to ask what is wrong with Fluffy Chat. Rather, it seems to me that removing Fluffy Chat didn't really remove it, because when I reinstall it, it still knows my credentials and attempts to pick up where it left off while trying to connect to a Matrix server.
My question is, How do I completely remove an application (like Fluffy Chat) so all remants are gone, and I can try to reinstall fresh?

@dln949 Try UT TweakTool from the OpenStore. Use the apps menu to find Fluffy Chat then clear evrything before deleting. Restart and that should be it.

Hi @dln949
You can use the application UT Tweak Tool in the open-store
With it you can clean the cache directory as well as deleting configuration files before uninstalling an app.An alternative option is to locate the app folder and delete it but for most users (and use cases) it is best to use UTTT.
