I'm on the road, and in Ubuntu Touch I can't connect to wifi in airports, hotels, etc, because they connect and then they require authentication in a browser window or something (for instance in Android it pops up as a separate window, also in desktop Ubuntu, not sure if it is a browser or something else).

Anybody knows a way of authenticating to this type of wifi connections in Ubuntu Touch?

@wgarcia With those sort of wifi I open the browser, open a new tab and then try to open a bookmark to somerhing like BBC News. The local wifi 'interupts' at this stage and asks for registration/authentication. If that fails try typing in the name of the establishment in the top search bar. Usually works for me..... although I do struggle with 'the cloud' as found in Wetherspoons etc. If anyone knows how to get back into that please advise!

@ian Thanks, it worked with the first wifi spot I found after your comment. Let's see if it works with the one in the hotel when I'm back (yes, I'm careful with those, I used them just for browsing).
