KDE Connect
-
Yeah! KDE Connect i very useful - Perfect when we can't connect our phone to an external monitor.
-
Someone could try to apt install it. It can be paired from the command line
-
Does KDE Connect (pc version) support ARM then...??
-
@SweDennis As I understand the Wiki, there is some KDE plasma application to be installed or compiled from sources (as I do in FreeBSD) and some app for Android on arm and some protocol between the two.
-
apt install DOES offer it so I guess it has at least been COMPILED for arm. It wants to pull in some 250 mb of dependencies though I didn't try that. Would have to make some space for it first.
-
good idea to check apt. it's not normal in my android life to install with apt
i will try to install this at the weekend and try to pair the device with my desktop

@einstein212
Hi. Have you been able to connect your phone with kdeconnect?I would like to try, but apt-get wants to install alot of kde packages.
No problem if it works. -
@vehi_mv I don't try to install because of the same reason you write sorry i don't know if it works or not.

There is a new version for this for SailfishOS:
https://openrepos.net/content/r1tschy/sailfish-connect
https://github.com/R1tschY/harbour-sailfishconnectI hope this can be ported?
-
Has there been any update on this? I do not see the KDE connect software in the OpenStore
