        @arubislander

        Hi,

        Maybe, because for now I don't have a device with UT... and I just want to buy a tablet with UT (Lenovo M10) to use Home Assistant like a hub to control my home.

        If Home doesn't work, I will buy an other tablet. That's all.

          @jukebox3711 well, if the main designated function for your tablet is to drive Home Assistant, I suspect you would be better off running Android on your tablet..

            Hi,

            Yes I saw the 2 comments, but its not very much to know if it's work well πŸ˜•
            And like i said, I don't have yet a device with UT. I will have when UT will be compatible with the Fairphone 4.

              Yes but I don't want Android πŸ˜• I prefer Apple if we go that way πŸ˜‰

                  I don't know if you heard about Nymea but this is another open source connected home control solution, that has a very polished Ubuntu Touch native app.

                        Aren't all of the tablet Home Assistant dashboards just an Android tablet in kiosk mode with just the browser running?

                        I don't know if Ubuntu Touch has a kiosk mode, nor if you could lock it down to just the browser.

                            @mark1250 If the Home Assistent app is only just a web app, then the UT app should work as well as any other, since it is also a wrapper around the website.
