I suppose you're from north America and your issue is probably related to VoLTE.

Also Marius announced some development in this area in the latest Q&A so there is hope.
But as he stated no pinging him on this topic it's too early.

@applee Ah! Yes that is likely the issue. I didnt even think of that. Ill look at that thread anf see if i can do something in the meantime as a workaround. I do intend to have a different number for testing this, and i remember reading somewhere someone suggested using a SIP service.

@hackersarchangel That would be the Linphone App along with a sip service such as jmp.chat. You can find info about that here in the forums, or for direct help in our Teleports (Telegram) group.

But, we are working hard on VoLTE. So, stay tuned...

@rocket2nfinity I looked for the Linphone app in the App store and was not able to see it in the search results. I was able to search for it on a laptop and find it via the browser, but when I tried to access it on the phone, no dice. Has anyone else been able to confirm that the Linphone app is ported to the Pixel 2XL (taimen) ARM variant?

I read somewhere on the forum that there is no build of the linphone app for arm64.
I guess one can build it, ask the maintainer to make a build or ask before forking the project.
Maybe there are issues with arm64 but more probably it's just a case of it needs to be done by someone that has enough time to do it.
