My latest update today 327 has a working OpenStore.
I just installed 327 and the image has no OpenStore. You must have installed it earlier. I tried downloading the arm64 architecture from the website and installing it with pkcon, but that failed, so I built it from source with clickable and now I also have a working OpenStore on my focal.

Did you choose the "focal arm64" ?
Could you explain for other user how to install with "pkcon" ? -
@arubislander Trying to remember now if I just installed 20.04 over 16.04 which might explain why OpenStore was there but would not work till I updated yesterday (which was the first time in days). That would explain why Teleports is there but not in OpenStore. Still don't have the Terminal app though.
-
@lakotaubp Ah... I did a clean install with wipe, since the last time I tried installing 20.04 it did not play well with installing without wipe.
-
@keneda Yes, I downloaded the focal arm64 build of the OpenStore app and I used
pkcon --allow-untrusted install-local ~/Downloads/openstore.openstore-team_3.3.7_arm64.click
With me it gave me an error message at the end (not behind my laptop now, so cannot check the error), and did not install anything. But maybe someone else might have better luck

@arubislander
Oh ok, you used SSH right ?
Because no terminal app on the phone for now ? -
No Terminal Focal built in the OpenStore yet.
-
@keneda I used adb. Haven't tried ssh yet.
-
@domubpkm Terminal for 20.04 has been built, but needs to be uploaded under the UBports namespace. This is being looked into in the coming days.
-
I seem to have an additional issue where if I try to install an update it just takes me into recovery mode and doesn't apply the update. Only way to apply the update is through the ubports installer.
-
@catalyst Not on mine. It works the normal way except it nees to be conected to a power supply. This may be down to the fact I installed 20.04 over 16.04 (Not 100% on this but seems to explain a few things, my little grey cells ate ageing).
-
@lakotaubp the battery issue is also present on a clean install of 20.04. so that at least is not due to having installed it over 16.04.
-
@arubislander Good to know. Thanks
-
So I reinstalled through the installer to get the latest updates and now both open store and terminal are there
I did try installing waydroid through the terminal but it can't find the package. I'm guessing it's not ready yet.
