        @lduboeuf I dont have my data 'turned off' but i am on WiFi. I didnt have this problem with OTA-1 atal, now it like being on the unstable channel πŸ˜‚.
        The only thing I thought it could be to with is Waydroid, if ive used that in the day it seems to happen, Maybe! But i cant say for sure.
        Ive been reading threw the forum for a while now and see its been a problem, hence why i ask if there is a roll back as a tempory fix.

          @Nemo I don't have this smartphone but I see two fixes :

          • test a new clean installation of OTA-2 with the installer (wipe data) ;
          • a last resort solution: a tempory return to OTA-25 with the installer too if you really need your smartphone as daily driver..

            @domubpkm Thanks for the advise.
            Appoligies, i should of said that i tried a fresh re install, it was one of the first things i tried after the update.
            I was thinking the same to go back to 16.04 but seemed a shame as OTA-1 was working so good so was hoping there was a roll back.. but, think thats what im going to have to do and go back to 16.04

              @Nemo the random reboots are annoying, but the battery drain is definitely because of Waydroid. Try using the Waydroid helper app to stop Waydroid after you have finished using it. That should at least stop that.

                  @Nemo just to be clear, that won't solve the random reboots. They have been widely reported, and a cause has yet to be found.

                    @arubislander Thank you. Dont worry i get that!! Ive been reading about the random reboots for a while now..
                    It was mainly just to ask if there was a roll back option or if there could be as im sure that would be a short term fix for everyone like myself who has this problem.
                    But your tip may fix the battery issue.

                      @Nemo I got random reboots with OTA-1 as well, also on developer and RC channel.

                      The workround for the battery drain is not great, but put it in aeroplane mode. This is for Focal and Xenial.

                      Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
                      I have too many devices...

                          @Nemo I had random reboots on OTA-1 too. But it took a while for me to notice it was happening.
