I could not get any browser to download on my UT device (like trying to download wallpapers from pexel.com).
When I got around to testing adb, I saw that the Downloads and Music folders were symlinks to themselves. Was this intensional?

I just tested now. If I delete both and recreate the folders I am able to download from the browser.

Maybe you did something related to mapping these folders to Waydroid?

@RJDan Nevertheless it is probably an unintended consequence of something you might have tried.

Because out of the box the Downloads and Music folders are proper folders and not symplinks.
