It's incredibly confusing, as which exact model of Lenovo M10 Tablet I should buy, in order to install Bubuntu Touch on it.

So to be perfectly clear...!!! I'm not porting anything to a completely new device, I'm just looking for the Lenovo M10 model, that has 100% functionality, as per description on the general UBports site! There are also not a many great deal of topics on this specific tablet and the general description is a bit vague on the two M10 tablet models described in the general guide description section...!

From what I've read so far, I require only specific models of Lenovo M10 HD(2nd Gen), whether it's LTE+ or 4g connection, is less relevant to me(I use daily a LTE+ phone, thus I'm quite familiar with the tech)... so from what I've read so far, it can't be a M10 3rd Gen, as Bubuntu Touch will not work to install on those...!!!

It needs to be a M10 HD 2nd Gen only, either model TB-X306F or a TB-X605F/L...?!? Which is the exact M10 model I need to buy in order to have a clean & smooth carefree install of Bubuntu Touch, as well as 100% functionality, after install is complete...?!?

@Moktrull x306x (mobile) or x306f (wifi only) are the supported ones. Make sure they are the variant with 3 or 4GB RAM.
And yep, Lenovo names are confusing LOL

In any case, I wouldn't expect much from these tablets They are kind of on the low end. I mean the screen is HD and you can easily see the pixels πŸ˜„.
You may also encounter some annoying bugs that I don't think is fixed even on Mole such as the device waking up randonly or not sleeping until you press the power button again.

Thanks a lot man, now to manage to "scoop up" one of the two, the rest of the details aren't so important for me and even so the only other option for a tablet to install Bubuntu Touch on is Volla tablet, which is craaaazy expensive for a tablet of any kind... and hard to find one too...!!!

              Bubuntu Touch

Just curious, what does Bubuntu mean in your language, since you keep making the same typo ...

Bubuntu is just a funny pun and a good intentional method of "fogging" the three letter agency(both of them)...

                  Indeed.
Maybe you can consider pinetab2, even if it still is beta.

@Keneda I would not recommend the Pinetab2 as an Ubuntu Touch device to the end user for now, because it is unclear, if the port will make much progress in the future and it does not look like any Pine64 devices are daily driver ready jet.

So going with a well supported Lenovo tablet seems more reasonable to me.

All the Volla devices are kind of expensive. But with the Volla Tablet the high price is maybe more justified, when you look at the specs (high resolution 12.6" IPS panel and 12GB RAM).
On the other hand you could maybe also get a similar powerful x86/amd64 Tablet for that price and be happy with Debian + Lomiri or Phosh.

@Moktrull Yeah, sadly there's not much tablet choices for UT. I also like a tablet and for now, Lenovo M10 HD is my only option πŸ˜…
