OnePlus Nord N10 5G - It's Minty!

I ran Ubuntu Touch a LONG time ago, on a Nexus 5. I wanted to see where things stood, but didn't feel confident in being able to unlock the bootloader and install UT, so I bought a pre-loaded OnePlus Nord N10 off eBay. I wanted a second cell number, so I ordered a line off Mint that is limited to 5 Gigs of data a month. I just wanted an inexpensive line.
So, I wasn't sure how to activate the physical sim, as I did not load the Mint app on my phone. I poked around, then figured I'd just call my home line from the new cell phone to see if I got dial tone. And it immediately went to Mint Mobile. They activated the line no problem! I didn't need to worry activating my sim at all.
I connected it to home wifi with no trouble at all. I was able to make and receive calls and text. I use KeePassXC on my Ubuntu desktop, Win11 laptop, and KeePass2Android on my Pixel 6a. I asked the forum, and installed KeePassRX. I wasn't sure how to get my database file over, but ended up sftp'ing it off my Raspberry PI. You can't add new entries on KeePassRX (if I read right), but that shouldn't be a major issue.
I tested logging in to a few favorite places with no issue.
I wasn't sure about email. I read about the Dekko2 client, but also saw that it has privileges to every file on the phone. I wasn't sure about that, but decided to give it a try. It works just fine with GMail. I just had to configure an app password. I get notifications when I receive an email.
I had to run errands today, so left my Pixel 6a at home and took the OnePlus. I decided to try UNav. It took a long time to get a GPS signal, but eventually picked it up and it mapped my route. I then tried to put in my home address, but the map didn't recognize it. When I got home, I just favorited my driveway and labelled it Home.
While out, I checked the phone in a Kroger parking lot. The phone showed 5G. I was pretty happy with that.
I'll poke around for a podcast app next. When driving I typically use a navigation app and stream podcasts.Hopefully I can download the podcasts first, while on wifi - then stream them when out driving.

@bgriffis Next time you need maps, use one of the sensor apps first to get lock (Messwerk, etc). Should lock a lot faster.
