unstable keyboard

Since i switch on 24.04 (stable).
in my daily usadge, i see that the keyboard is 'unstable' (he popout sometimes). it appends when i switch between letters/numbers, but not anytime.
Is it a provisory probleme ? : i read that it woold be better with qt6 (? - i don't understand the details of that) -
If anyone reading here and is on daily 24.04.1.x; please test:
sudo ubports-qa install 24.04-1.x_-_PR_lomiri-keyboard_248
If you are on a limited partition device, i recommend doing this before:
sudo mount -t tmpfs none /var/cache/apt
sudo mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /var/lib/apt/listsFor 24.04.2.x:
sudo ubports-qa install 24.04-2.x_-_PR_lomiri-keyboard_247We noticed that having several keyboard layout make the crash happen more frequently, also it seems related to the predictive engine ( word suggestions ) , of course it has to be installed in the long run to make sure it doesn"t make any regression at least.

What device are you using? What sub-version of 24.04 specifically? With what app does the problem appear?

Hello.
I occasionally have the same "problem" on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Only the menu that allows you to select or copy is present above the input area.
If you keep your finger on the menu, the keyboard reappears after a few seconds.
I would say that this is a historical inconvenience. -

particulary with whatsnews. but the probleme existe with note and messages (probably signal,but i use it less). -
Whatsnew it's specific as it is a xWayland app, and it may not be perfect keyboard-wise, although I personally don't experience much instabilities, a bit of flickering may happen for me at the very moment of sending the message or selecting the edit area, but this is very fast and not disturbing at all.
But if it happens as well with other system apps, well strange.

On older version of UT I had this problem of the keyboard crashing, when imputing certain words, and when certain words were computed as suggestion, especially words with special characters. But it's been a long time that it is solved for me. May it be that?

This is something related to the prediction engine ( the thing that give some suggestions when typing ), i've tried to dig it a bit, but i'm afraid it is too low level for me, and giving the fact that it is random, very hard to tackle.

@pparent : I feel that it is better when i don't use whatsnew (after reboot). is it possible ? (or in my head). -
Do you mean that using whatsnew would have an impact on the keyboard including when using other apps after? I really don't think that it's likely to be possible.

After 24 hours : the probleme seems solved. thanks @lduboeuf !I had a crash 3 times yesterday ( teleport and/or messaging-app)... i'm testing on 24.04.2 first and will update 24.04.1.x branch afterward, i will let you know
